About the Role
The Pharmacovigilance Services New Associate role falls under Accenture’s Life Sciences R&D vertical, which supports pharmaceutical and biotechnology clients in improving patient outcomes and ensuring drug safety. From research labs and clinical trials to regulatory compliance and patient services, this role touches every aspect of the product life cycle in healthcare.
As a New Associate, you’ll be a key player in ensuring global drug safety compliance by processing individual case safety reports (ICSRs), managing adverse event (AE) data, and following up on both serious and non-serious cases. You’ll help ensure that life-saving medicines are monitored for safety — a critical function in protecting public health.
What You’ll Do
- Pharmacovigilance Operations: Work on the collection, entry, and assessment of drug safety data.
- Case Processing: Handle case identification, data entry, MedDRA coding, submission, and follow-up activities.
- Regulatory Compliance: Adhere to international pharmacovigilance regulations (like those from the FDA and EMA).
- Communication: Manage affiliate mailbox, coordinate follow-ups, and reconcile safety reports.
