Location: Mithapur, Gujarat

Job Purpose: To lead the Analytical Laboratory, ensuring efficient laboratory operations, reliable analytical results, regulatory compliance, laboratory safety, quality systems, resource management and effective customer and stakeholder coordination.

Primary Responsibilities:

1. Laboratory Leadership & Operations: Lead Analytical Laboratory operations, establish analytical standards and drive continuous improvement across laboratory sections.
2. Regulatory & Statutory Compliance: Ensure compliance with applicable statutory requirements, coordinate with regulatory authorities and implement corrective and preventive actions.
3. Quality Assurance & Improvement: Oversee testing methodologies, validation, analytical data integrity, root cause analysis and quality improvement initiatives.
4. Safety & Resource Management: Ensure safe handling, storage and disposal of laboratory chemicals; manage procurement, inventory, equipment and operating costs.
5. Documentation & Certification: Maintain laboratory records, ensure traceability and audit readiness, and authorize analytical reports and quality certificates.
6. Customer & Stakeholder Coordination: Act as Site Customer Relationship Manager for quality matters, coordinate with Marketing and customers, and ensure timely resolution of quality-related complaints.

Additional Responsibilities: Ensure confidentiality of laboratory information, protect proprietary data, promote ethical practices and support plant quality and operational objectives.

Educational Qualifications: PhD in Chemistry / PhD in Material Science / M.Sc. in Chemistry / Master’s in Laboratory Technology.

Certification/s or Training/s:

Work Experience: 15–20 years of experience in Analytical Laboratory Management, with proven experience leading a laboratory in an industrial or manufacturing environment.

Work Environment: Industrial manufacturing environment involving analytical laboratory operations, chemical handling, regulatory inspections, quality audits and coordination with plant departments, customers and external authorities.
