Job Overview
As a Safety Associate Trainee, you will review, assess, and process safety data and information from various sources, ensuring compliance with regulations, SOPs, and internal guidelines. You will also collaborate with internal teams and external stakeholders under the guidance of senior operations team members.
Key Responsibilities
- Complete assigned training modules within deadlines.
- Process safety data according to regulatory and project requirements.
- Perform pharmacovigilance activities including:
- Collecting and tracking Adverse Events (AEs)
- Determining status of events (initial/updated)
- Database entry & medical coding (AEs & Products)
- Narrative writing
- Literature screening-related tasks
- Maintain expected productivity and quality standards.
- Identify and escalate quality issues.
- Participate in team meetings and provide feedback.
- Ensure compliance with organizational practices and processes.
- Take on additional workflow responsibilities as assigned.
Qualifications & Skills Required
- Bachelor’s degree in a scientific, healthcare, or allied life sciences discipline.
- Knowledge of medical terminology.
- Strong verbal & written communication skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office & web applications.
- Self-motivated, detail-oriented, and adaptable.
- Ability to work independently as well as in a team.
- Strong time management & multitasking abilities.
- Flexibility to work in shifts and willingness to learn new skills.
