Position Overview: Analyst – R&D (PV Case Processing)
We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Analyst to join our R&D Pharmacovigilance (PV) Case Processing team in Bangalore. This role plays a key part in ensuring the safety and compliance of our products through accurate management of adverse event reports.
As an Analyst, you’ll contribute to Elanco’s commitment to high-quality data, regulatory compliance, and animal welfare while gaining hands-on experience in the growing field of pharmacovigilance.
Key Responsibilities
Perform data entry, seriousness, and causality assessments for adverse event reports in the pharmacovigilance database.
Ensure the accuracy, completeness, and regulatory compliance of case information for submission.
Identify and escalate processing or submission issues in a timely manner.
Develop a thorough understanding of global pharmacovigilance regulations and Elanco’s internal processes.
Maintain compliance with reporting timelines for adverse events and product complaints.
What You’ll Need to Succeed
Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Life Sciences, Pharmacy, Biotechnology, Veterinary Science, or a related discipline.
0–1 year of experience in pharmacovigilance or life sciences research (fresh graduates welcome).
Basic understanding of medical terminology relevant to adverse event reporting.
Excellent communication and organizational skills.
Ability to work effectively with internal teams and stakeholders across functions.
Commitment to quality, accuracy, and compliance in all deliverables.
