Labcorp is looking for a Clinical Data Analyst I to join its team in Bengaluru, India. This opportunity is suitable for professionals with experience in clinical data management, data reconciliation, and resolving clinical data discrepancies.

Job Description

The Clinical Data Analyst I will be responsible for managing the end-to-end resolution of data discrepancies between clients, including sponsors, Contract Research Organizations (CROs), and investigators, and the Labcorp database.

The role involves understanding client requirements, analyzing data-related requests, determining appropriate actions, updating databases when necessary, and providing accurate and timely responses to client inquiries.

The selected candidate will collaborate with internal stakeholders, coordinate communications, manage timelines, and provide administrative and technical support to ensure efficient issue resolution and operational excellence.

Key Responsibilities

• Analyze and resolve client-reported data discrepancies, updating databases in accordance with applicable Good Clinical Practice (GCP) guidelines.
• Coordinate cross-functional communications to ensure discrepancies are resolved efficiently and on time.
• Perform basic to complex data revisions in accordance with established data cleaning and revision procedures.
• Respond to client inquiries clearly and recommend alternative solutions when requested actions are not feasible.
• Collaborate with internal stakeholders to understand business requirements and support decision-making.
• Conduct quality reviews of database updates and client communications to ensure accuracy and consistency.
• Generate, review, and troubleshoot database reports and resolve identified issues.
• Identify and escalate risks that could affect discrepancy resolution timelines or client deliverables.
• Manage workloads effectively to meet deadlines and service expectations.
• Maintain compliance with company procedures, management communications, and organizational standards.
• Document service failures and conduct investigations when required.
• Manage shared mailboxes and ensure timely loading of queries.
• Support Client Leads in managing client requirements and operational priorities.
• Provide administrative and technical support to internal teams and participate in additional projects as assigned.

Educational Qualifications

Candidates should meet the following educational requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Science or a related field.
• A Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Science, Life Sciences, Data Management, or a related discipline is preferred.

Experience and Skills Required

• Minimum of 4 years of professional experience.
• Strong understanding of data revision and reconciliation processes.
• Knowledge of laboratory data or clinical data management.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, including Word, Excel, and Outlook.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
• Ability to coordinate with cross-functional teams and manage multiple priorities.
• Attention to detail and commitment to data accuracy and quality.
• Ability to work in a global, customer-focused environment.
