Job Description

Cipla is inviting applications for the position of Junior Officer – Production at its manufacturing facility in Rangpo, Sikkim. The selected candidate will be responsible for executing production activities during shifts, maintaining cGMP and safety standards, managing resources, and achieving production targets.

This opportunity is suitable for B.Pharm professionals with relevant pharmaceutical formulation manufacturing experience.

Key Responsibilities

1. Execute daily production activities according to the planned production schedule and achieve shift-wise production targets.
2. Ensure optimum utilization of consumables, equipment, and available resources to reduce manufacturing costs.
3. Maintain standard process parameters as per Batch Manufacturing Records (BMRs) and supporting documents.
4. Ensure compliance with cGMP, SOPs, quality standards, and safety regulations.
5. Maintain equipment, facilities, and manufacturing areas as per regulatory requirements.
6. Update manufacturing documentation, deviations, and records in CipDox.
7. Perform validation, qualification, and calibration activities as per schedule.
8. Maintain accurate online documentation and timely entries in BMRs.
9. Operate software systems such as SAP, CipDox, and QMS.
10. Ensure proper PPE utilization and implementation of workplace safety procedures.
11. Coordinate with QA, QC, Engineering, Warehouse, HSE, and other departments for smooth production operations.
12. Manage shift resources and workload distribution to achieve operational efficiency.

Required Qualifications & Experience

• B.Pharm qualification is mandatory.
• 3–4 years of relevant work experience.
• Minimum 2 years of experience in pharmaceutical manufacturing.
• Knowledge of cGMP practices and pharmaceutical formulation production.
• Experience in production equipment operations.
• Understanding of BMRs, SOPs, deviations, and GMP documentation.
• Knowledge of SAP, CipDox, and QMS will be beneficial.
