1. R&D – CDMO, API Synthesis & Specialty Chemicals
Qualification:
- M.Sc. in Organic Chemistry
- Ph.D. in Chemistry
Experience: 2–8 years in API, CDMO, or specialty chemicals.
Key Skills and Responsibilities:
- Understanding of API synthesis, process development, and DMF documentation.
- Knowledge of cost-effective, quality-driven, and eco-friendly processes aligned with ICH guidelines.
- Experience with lab-scale process optimization, product validation, and technology transfer.
- Familiarity with KSM, intermediates, and API specifications.
- Working knowledge of NMR, mass spectrometry, and IR characterization.
2. Quality Assurance (QA)
Qualification:
- M.Sc. in Organic Chemistry
- M.Pharm.
Experience: 3–8 years in the API industry.
Key Skills and Responsibilities:
- Knowledge of cGMP and regulatory compliance across QA operations.
- Experience with APQA, IPQA, batch release, deviations, CAPA, change control, and audit-related activities.
- Knowledge of data review and assurance of data integrity.
- Experience with internal and external audits, inspections, and documentation.
- Maintaining strong control over qualifications, preventive maintenance, and calibration reviews.
- Preparing quality documents in accordance with regulatory and organizational requirements.
- Driving automation, digitalization, and continuous improvement initiatives.
3. Production
Qualification:
- B.E./B.Tech. in Chemical Engineering
- M.Sc. in Organic Chemistry
Experience: 3–8 years in the API industry.
Key Skills and Responsibilities:
- Knowledge of API production and bulk drug manufacturing.
- Understanding of cGMP requirements and quality standards.
- Experience with batch start-up activities and monitoring.
- Knowledge of calibration of balances.
- Reviewing technical documents such as batch records, SOPs, BMRs, validation protocols, etc.
- Knowledge and exposure to cGMP requirements.
