Job Responsibilities
1. Mechanical Maintenance
- Perform mechanical maintenance activities in an API manufacturing environment.
- Ensure smooth functioning of plant machinery and equipment.
- Troubleshoot mechanical breakdowns and minimize equipment downtime.
2. Preventive Maintenance
- Execute preventive maintenance (PM) activities as per the maintenance schedule.
- Carry out equipment qualification activities.
- Ensure equipment reliability and operational efficiency.
3. Regulatory Compliance
- Maintain engineering documentation.
- Ensure compliance with cGMP requirements.
- Support regulatory audits and maintain relevant maintenance records.
Candidate Requirements
- B.E. in Mechanical Engineering.
- 1–5 years of relevant experience.
- Experience in mechanical maintenance, preferably in the pharmaceutical industry.
- Knowledge of preventive maintenance (PM).
- Understanding of equipment qualification.
- Knowledge of engineering documentation and cGMP requirements.
- Good troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
