Scope of Work
Selected candidates will be responsible for supporting process engineering activities across pilot and plant-scale operations, including:
- Monitor and support pilot/plant-scale batch execution for API and intermediate processes while ensuring compliance with approved process parameters and batch procedures.
- Execute process trials and batches in cylindrical and lab-mimic reactors to evaluate process performance and generate scale-up data.
- Monitor and document critical process parameters such as temperature, pressure, pH, addition rate, agitation, gas flow, vacuum, reaction time, solvent conditions and reaction completion.
- Conduct and document lab-scale and cylindrical reactor trials to understand process behaviour and validate critical parameters before plant-scale execution.
- Evaluate scale-up and scale-down challenges and provide technically sound recommendations for successful process transfer and execution.
- Provide on-floor technical support during pilot and commercial batch execution and promptly escalate critical process or safety concerns.
Eligibility
Candidates should have:
- B.Tech in Chemical Engineering
- 2 to 7 years of relevant experience
- Experience or exposure to process engineering, API/intermediate manufacturing, reactor trials, scale-up and batch execution will be relevant for this opportunity.
