Key Responsibilities
The selected candidate will be responsible for:
- Leading and managing all Quality Control laboratory operations.
- Handling Chemical, Instrumentation, Microbiology, and Stability laboratory activities.
- Reviewing and approving analytical data, specifications, SOPs, protocols, and reports.
- Ensuring compliance with GMP, GLP, Data Integrity, and regulatory guidelines.
- Managing OOS, OOT, Deviations, CAPA, Change Controls, and laboratory investigations.
- Coordinating Analytical Method Validation, Method Transfer, and Stability Studies.
- Reviewing testing of raw materials, packing materials, in-process samples, finished products, and water systems.
- Supporting customer, internal, and regulatory audits while maintaining audit readiness.
- Leading quality investigations and ensuring timely closure of quality events.
- Supervising, mentoring, and developing Quality Control team members.
- Collaborating with Production, QA, Warehouse, and Regulatory Affairs departments.
- Ensuring calibration, qualification, and maintenance of laboratory instruments.
- Driving continuous improvement initiatives to enhance laboratory efficiency and compliance.
Preferred Candidate Profile
Applicants should possess:
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Pharmacy, Chemistry, Microbiology, or a related Life Science discipline.
- 8–10 years of Quality Control experience in a sterile injectable pharmaceutical manufacturing facility.
- Strong understanding of pharmacopeial standards, GMP, GLP, Data Integrity, and regulatory requirements.
- Hands-on experience with HPLC, GC, UV, Dissolution, TOC, and other analytical instruments.
- Excellent leadership, communication, team management, and problem-solving abilities.
