Job Description
Pfizer’s Worldwide Medical and Safety team works to support evidence-based healthcare decisions and improve patient outcomes. The selected candidate will contribute to clinical data monitoring and management activities, ensuring the accuracy, quality, and integrity of clinical data.
The role involves supporting clinical data systems, maintaining documentation standards, resolving data-related issues, and collaborating with study teams to support clinical trial operations.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform Data Monitoring and Management (DMM) activities, including data review, query management, and investigation of logic check flags.
- Support database design quality through documentation, testing, validation, and implementation of clinical data collection tools and systems.
- Act as the first point of contact for Clinical Trial Management System (CTMS) questions and issues.
- Follow applicable Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and established working practices.
- Collaborate with study teams, document owners, and Trial Master File (TMF) study owners to resolve documentation discrepancies.
- Contribute to process improvement initiatives and other assigned projects.
Eligibility Criteria
Candidates should meet the following minimum requirements:
- BA/BS degree.
- Demonstrated knowledge or experience of ICH/GCP documentation requirements.
- Hands-on experience with electronic documentation management systems and/or web-based data management systems.
- Awareness of the clinical development process and a strong understanding of Good Clinical Practice (GCP) principles.
- Understanding of regulatory requirements and relevant data standards.
- Strong written and verbal English communication skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
Preferred Skills
Candidates with the following additional skills and experience may have an advantage:
- Experience with Clinical Trial Management Systems (CTMS).
- Familiarity with data validation and quality control processes.
- Ability to collaborate effectively within a team.
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Familiarity with AI tools such as ChatGPT and Microsoft Copilot to support productivity and problem-solving.
- Awareness of responsible AI practices, including ethical use and risk management.
