Job Summary
The Manager/Senior Manager – Pharmacovigilance will be responsible for managing end-to-end pharmacovigilance (PV) operations and ensuring full compliance with local and international regulatory requirements. The role involves leading a team of PV professionals, maintaining safety data integrity, and actively collaborating with regulatory bodies and internal stakeholders.
Key Responsibilities

Oversee pharmacovigilance functions in India, Bangladesh, Nepal, and Sri Lanka.

Ensure compliance with local and global PV regulations and guidelines.

Manage the lifecycle of adverse drug reaction (ADR) reporting—from collection to submission.

Lead the development and implementation of pharmacovigilance processes and SOPs.

Prepare and submit Periodic Safety Update Reports (PSURs) and other regulatory reports.

Guide and mentor a team of pharmacovigilance specialists.

Collaborate closely with Clinical Development, Regulatory Affairs, and Quality Assurance teams.

Conduct safety risk assessments and develop mitigation plans.

Liaise with health authorities and ensure smooth communication on safety matters.

Stay up to date with evolving pharmacovigilance guidelines and trends.
Qualifications
-
Bachelor’s degree in Pharmacy, Medicine, or related life sciences. Advanced degree is a plus.

5–7 years of experience in pharmacovigilance, with at least 2 years in a managerial position.

Strong knowledge of pharmacovigilance regulations in South Asia (India, Bangladesh, Nepal, Sri Lanka).

Proven leadership, project management, and communication skills.

Familiarity with global safety databases and pharmacovigilance tools.

Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
Preferred Skills

Experience managing PV across multiple countries.

Certification in pharmacovigilance or related domains.

Excellent analytical and problem-solving capabilities.

Competence in handling audits and regulatory inspections.
