Role Overview
As a Trainee Research Associate in the Synthesis department, you will play a key role in the synthesis, purification, and characterization of chemical intermediates. Your primary focus will be to deliver small to large quantities of novel chemical entities that will contribute to drug discovery projects. This is a fantastic opportunity for individuals with an academic background in chemistry, especially those with an interest in organic synthesis and pharmaceutical chemistry.

Key Responsibilities
- Synthesis, purification and characterization of chemical intermediates.
- Deliver small to large quantities of novel chemical entities for drug discovery.
- Work collaboratively in a team to drive chemistry projects forward.
- Excellent knowledge of basic organic chemistry with mechanism.
- Good knowledge of Name Reactions & functional group transformation.
- Good knowledge of molarity, normality, equivalency.
- Practical experience in thin-layer chromatography, column purification and extraction.
- Good understanding of NMR, IR and mass spectrometry.
- Interest to adapt and knowledge of laboratory safety practices.
- Enthusiasm to work in a dynamic research environment.
- Good Soft & Scientific Communication skills.
Person Profile
Qualification: –
- M.Sc. in Chemistry/Organic Chemistry/Pharmaceutical Chemistry or related field or M. Pharma (Specialized in Organic Synthesis) with 0-1 years’ project experience.
Experience: –
- 0-1 year of exp.
