BDR Pharma, a leading name in the pharmaceutical industry, is currently seeking a highly skilled and experienced professional for the position of Executive – QA (Injectable Equipment and Utility Qualification). This role is based at their facility in Baska, Halol, and offers a dynamic environment for those specializing in quality assurance and validation within the injectable segment.
Key Responsibilities and Role Overview
The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing the rigorous qualification and validation processes essential for injectable manufacturing. Primary duties include:
- Equipment & Utility Qualification: Managing qualification processes for critical machinery such as Autoclaves, vial washing machines, vial dehydrogenation tunnels, Manufacturing vessels, and Lyophilizers.
- Documentation & Planning: Preparing and reviewing comprehensive Validation Master Plans (including QMP, VMP, PVMP, CVMP, and CSVMP). This includes the creation and review of URS, FS, DS, DQ, RA, IQ, OQ, and PQ documents.
- Lifecycle Management: Handling and storing vital quality documents like BMR, BPR, logbooks, protocols, and SOPs throughout their entire lifecycle.
- Compliance & Re-verification: Updating periodic requalification and re-verification schedules for equipment and utilities on a monthly or as-needed basis.
- Cross-Functional Collaboration: Coordinating with various teams to execute validation activities and supporting Quality Management Systems (QMS) including change management, deviations, and CAPA (Corrective and Preventive Actions).
Candidate Requirements
BDR Pharma is looking for candidates who meet the following professional criteria:
- Experience: 5 to 7 years of dedicated experience in Injectable Equipment and Utility Qualification.
- Educational Background: B.Pharm or M.Pharm degree.
- Industry Expertise: A solid background within the pharmaceutical industry is mandatory.
- Technical Knowledge: Proficiency in preparing and reviewing standard operating procedures (SOPs) and technical summary reports for systems and utilities.
