We are hiring for API Research & Development facility at Vadodara, Gujarat
Senior Research Associate / Associate Research Scientist in Intellectual Property
Ph.D. / M.Pharm or a PGDIP (Post Graduate Diploma in Intellectual Property / Regd. Indian Patent Agent / Degree in Law from a university of repute). Candidates should have good communications skills, should have demonstrative e-mail etiquettes and should have received first class throughout their career.
The job requires patent landscape preparation and verification, infringement analysis and freedom to conduct review, design strategies for circumventing patents, patentability study on published patent application and draft provisional specifications and complete it and prosecute patent applications at various patent offices.
Candidates are also required to perform prior art searches, prepare responses to office actions based on the examination of patent applications, support invalidation / opposition studies for US / Europe / India and other jurisdictions, thorough understanding on polymorphism in drug substance and drug product and screening of molecules for business development from IP perspective.
Further, candidates should have thorough knowledge on discovery work for litigation support, pre-grant opposition / third party observation / pre-issuance of third party observation preparation and filing for patent applications in IN/EP/US/PCT and should have knowledge about patent laws in India, US, Europe, Latin, South-East Asia, China etc.. and knowledge on para-legal activities.
