- Responsible for generating business for Contract Manufacturing opportunities in formulations and to ensure that there is optimum utilization of the Capacity of manufacturing units across all locations
- Should have excellent contacts in the industry and well aware of the top management staff in
Industry
- Interacting with potential business partners on a regular basis to identify business opportunities
- Increasing quantum of new products with existing customers
- Increasing quantum of new products with new customers
- Be single point of contact to the client until the contract is awarded by
- Follow up for preparation of the necessary costing of the products for the purpose of quotation to the client
- Set clear priorities, ties, goals, targets and plans for the BD team
- Product costing, pricing models, negotiations and quotation preparations for client products
- Knowledge on operations like PPIC, RM & PM
- Prepare monthly, quarterly, annual and future business plans with budgets and forecasts 12. Co-ordinate with the Plant Heads on a regular basis to ensure that the contract schedule is planned in accordance to the availability of capacity
- Sufficiently position products, services, key advantages and differentiation from other service providers to generate interest within the target audience
Essential Skills:
- Minimum 20 years of experience in Pharma Formulations (OSD)Pharma industry of which at least 5 to 7 years heading Business Development Team
- Should carry experience in P2P industry
- Must have excellent pharma industry contacts within Domestic Market
- Must have proven track record of successful revenue generation in companies worked
- Knowledge of contract terms and conditions
- Understanding of costing, budgeting & forecasting, capacity planning, logistics, supply
chain
- Must have strong communication skills in English and Hindi
