  1. Responsible for generating business for Contract Manufacturing opportunities in formulations and to ensure that there is optimum utilization of the Capacity of manufacturing units across all locations
  2. Should have excellent contacts in the industry and well aware of the top management staff in

Industry

  1. Interacting with potential business partners on a regular basis to identify business opportunities
  2. Increasing quantum of new products with existing customers
  3. Increasing quantum of new products with new customers
  4. Be single point of contact to the client until the contract is awarded by
  5. Follow up for preparation of the necessary costing of the products for the purpose of quotation to the client
  6. Set clear priorities, ties, goals, targets and plans for the BD team
  1. Product costing, pricing models, negotiations and quotation preparations for client products
  2. Knowledge on operations like PPIC, RM & PM
  3. Prepare monthly, quarterly, annual and future business plans with budgets and forecasts 12. Co-ordinate with the Plant Heads on a regular basis to ensure that the contract schedule is planned in accordance to the availability of capacity
  4. Sufficiently position products, services, key advantages and differentiation from other service providers to generate interest within the target audience

Essential Skills:

  1. Minimum 20 years of experience in Pharma Formulations (OSD)Pharma industry of which at least 5 to 7 years heading Business Development Team
  2. Should carry experience in P2P industry
  3. Must have excellent pharma industry contacts within Domestic Market
  4. Must have proven track record of successful revenue generation in companies worked
  5. Knowledge of contract terms and conditions
  6. Understanding of costing, budgeting & forecasting, capacity planning, logistics, supply

chain

  1. Must have strong communication skills in English and Hindi
