Job Summary
As part of the Clinical Data Sciences (CDS) group within Clinical Development & Operations, the Associate Database Analyst will be responsible for programming and maintaining high-quality clinical databases.
You will support Pfizer’s clinical portfolio by ensuring data integrity, consistency, and compliance with standards across clinical trials.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain clinical databases
- Create data capture solutions for clinical studies
- Ensure high-quality and timely data delivery
- Collaborate with cross-functional study teams
- Follow SOPs and standard work practices
- Support data review and submission processes
- Learn and apply database standards across therapy areas
🎓 Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in:
- Life Sciences
- Computer Science
- Or equivalent field
Experience Required
- Minimum 2 years of relevant experience
- Experience in pharma, biotech, CRO, or regulatory agencies
- Exposure to clinical data collection and database solutions
Required Skills
- Oracle, PL/SQL
- SAS, Java
- Relational database design & programming
Preferred Skills
- Experience with:
- Oracle InForm
- Oracle DMW
- MS SQL Server / MS Access
- Knowledge of clinical trial data processes
- Understanding of regulatory requirements & CDISC standards
- Strong communication and project management skills
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook)
