We’re seeking an experienced professional to lead our NMR instrumentation operations and drive optimisation in characterization techniques.

As a Senior Research Scientist (NMR), you’ll play a crucial role in understanding project requirements, ensuring the smooth operation of NMR instruments and leading a team of motivated scientists. With 8 to 10 years of analytical experience in the CRO/API industry, you’ll bring expertise in NMR techniques like NOESY, COSY and Q-NMR, as well as proficiency in LCMS, XRD, TGA and other characterization methods.

Your responsibilities will include planning and executing work responsibilities, proactively identifying bottlenecks and communicating viable solutions to collaborators. You’ll also be responsible for NMR troubleshooting, calibration and ensuring compliance with all related regulations.

Job Responsibilities:

• Understanding the project requirements from collaborators & key stakeholders
• Responsible for smoother operation of NMR instruments, shift planning and execution to achieve benchmark productivity month on month basis

Proactively identifying bottlenecks & communicating viable solutions along with insights to collaborators

• Responsible for NMR troubleshooting and calibration, coordinating with vendors/technicians
• Ready to work within a team & lead a team of motivated young scientists
• Responsible for training, coaching and mentoring team

Job Requirements:

• 8-10 years of analytical experience working in CRO/API industry
• Sound knowledge of various NMR analysis’ experiment set-ups
• Expertise in handling characterization of organic compounds with advanced NMR techniques
• Interpersonal skills to interact effectively with people in other departments
• Must possess a great deal of integrity to maintain confidentiality
