Job Description:
We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Lab Quality Assurance (QA) Specialist to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have 3 to 5 years of relevant experience in a quality assurance role within a laboratory setting, along with a strong educational background in the sciences. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring that all laboratory processes and outputs meet the highest quality standards.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop, implement, and maintain quality assurance protocols and procedures in accordance with regulatory requirements.
- Conduct thorough reviews of analytical data to ensure accuracy and compliance with established standards.
- Manage and execute change control processes, ensuring that modifications are documented and assessed appropriately for potential impacts on quality.
- Facilitate the investigation and resolution of deviations, including the identification of root causes and implementation of corrective and preventive actions (CAPA).
- Utilize Electronic Document Management Systems (EDMS) and Learning Management Systems (LMS) to maintain proper documentation and training records.
- Collaborate with laboratory teams to foster a culture of continuous improvement and adherence to quality standards.
- Participate in internal and external audits, ensuring compliance with applicable regulations and industry best practices.
Qualifications and Skills:
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in a relevant field (B.Sc., M.Sc., B.Pharm, M.Pharm).
- 3 to 5 years of experience in a quality assurance role within a laboratory environment.
- Strong working knowledge of CAPA, change control, deviations, and analytical data review processes.
- Familiarity with EDMS and LMS platforms.
- Excellent attention to detail and analytical skills.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, capable of working collaboratively within a team.
