🧬 About the Role:
At Cognizant, medical writers are more than just content creators—they are key contributors to drug development and regulatory success. This role calls for professionals who can translate complex clinical data into clear, concise, and compliant documents that support regulatory submissions and clinical trial transparency.
✍️ Your Responsibilities:

Author and edit a variety of high-quality regulatory documents such as Clinical Study Reports (CSRs), study protocols, and Investigator’s Brochures

Coordinate and collaborate with internal clinical teams, medical experts, and external stakeholders to ensure accurate and verified content

Perform extensive quality checks on submissions to ensure completeness, accuracy, and adherence to internal guidelines

Maintain consistency and compliance with writing standards, while managing multiple documents across various stages of development
🎓 Qualifications:

Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Life Sciences, Biology, Medical Science, or a related discipline

4–6 years of hands-on experience in medical writing for the pharmaceutical or healthcare industry

Deep knowledge of clinical research, regulatory documentation standards, and medical terminology

Strong verbal communication skills and the ability to manage multiple concurrent writing assignments
🛠️ Skills & Competencies:

Clinical trial expertise: Ability to understand and interpret clinical data, create structured scientific content

Proficiency in writing CSRs, Protocols, IBs, and similar documents

Strong command over medical content creation, analytical thinking, and data interpretation

Attention to detail and experience in medical communications best practices
