🎓 Internship Overview: Narrative Writer – GSC Intern
🔎 Objective
This internship is designed to equip aspiring professionals with hands-on experience in scientific communication, particularly in narrative writing, data integrity, clinical documentation, and more. Interns will be mentored by experienced teams while contributing meaningfully to ongoing drug development programs.
🛠️ What You Will Learn & Do
As a GSC Intern, you will:

Understand and support scientific editing, data accuracy checks, and clinical trial registry activities.

Participate in document preparation, planning, and first-draft authoring of scientific content.

Learn to manage writing timelines, stakeholder communication, and cross-functional collaboration.

Acquire knowledge in therapeutic areas, compound-specific development, and regulatory writing standards.

Gain exposure to tools like document management systems, databases, and project coordination platforms.

Develop skills in scientific storytelling that aligns with digital transformation and audience needs.

Contribute to process enhancements and quality initiatives across GSC functions.
✅ Eligibility Criteria
Minimum Qualification:

Master’s degree in a relevant field:

Life Sciences, Public Health, Health Economics, Communications, or similar disciplines.

Strong written and spoken English communication skills.

Completion of a Data Integrity writing assessment (part of the evaluation process).
Preferred Background:

Advanced degrees (PhD, MD, MBBS, PharmD) are advantageous.

Familiarity with clinical development, health outcomes, regulatory affairs, or therapeutic area knowledge (oncology, immunology, etc.).

Computer proficiency in MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and medical/scientific documentation tools.
