Clinical Research Associate
About the Role
The Clinical Research Associate will act as the key liaison between Novartis and clinical trial sites, ensuring effective communication, compliance with protocols, and high-quality data monitoring. This role is vital in ensuring trials are conducted in accordance with ICH-GCP guidelines, regulatory requirements, and Novartis internal procedures.
CRAs at Novartis are expected to demonstrate ownership, proactive communication, and problem-solving to optimize patient recruitment, data collection, and site collaboration.
Key Responsibilities

Manage assigned clinical study sites and monitor all study-related activities in accordance with Novartis procedures and the Monitoring Plan.

Perform Site Initiation Visits (SIVs), continuous training, and site management activities throughout the trial.

Ensure compliance with protocol, Good Clinical Practices (GCP), local/global regulations, and data privacy policies.

Identify and resolve issues at the site level by promoting risk mitigation strategies and process improvements.

Collaborate closely with internal stakeholders, including Clinical Project Managers (CPMs), CRA Managers, Medical Science Liaisons (MSLs), and Medical Advisors.

Ensure proper maintenance of site documentation and timely entry of high-quality data into relevant systems.

Participate in audit and inspection readiness processes and assist in implementing corrective actions as needed.

Collect essential regulatory documents and ensure Investigator Site Files and study Trial Master Files (sTMF) are current and compliant.
Essential Requirements

Bachelor’s degree or higher in a scientific or healthcare discipline.

Proficiency in English and the local language.
