About the Role
As a Clinical Research Assistant, you will play a crucial role in supporting the daily operations of our longitudinal clinical trials. These studies involve Continuous Glucose Monitoring (CGM), lab testing, gut microbiome analysis, and remote physician consultations.
You will be the link that connects participants, labs, physicians, and research coordinators, ensuring smooth coordination, accurate data collection, and compassionate communication throughout the trial process.
Key Responsibilities
🧑⚕️ Participant Coordination

Scheduling and follow-up for CGM setup, lab testing, stool sample collections, and virtual doctor consultations.

Educating participants on mobile app usage and sample/test procedures.
📊 Data Collection & Management

Monitoring and extracting data from CGM devices and mobile health apps.

Timely and accurate data entry into study databases or CRFs (Case Report Forms).

Identifying and escalating any data inconsistencies or deviations from protocol.
💬 Communication & Support

Acting as a liaison among participants, clinical laboratories, logistics partners, and healthcare providers.

Maintaining regular and empathetic communication with participants to ensure adherence.

Coordinating the shipment and tracking of biological specimens.
🗂️ Documentation & Compliance

Maintaining precise participant records in accordance with Good Clinical Practice (GCP) and IRB standards.

Managing consent forms, participant tracking sheets, and other regulatory documents.
Qualifications and Skills

Bachelor’s degree in Life Sciences, Pharmacy, Nursing, Biotechnology, Clinical Research, or a related health field.

0–2 years of experience in a clinical or healthcare research environment (internship experience accepted).

Familiarity with CGM devices and digital health platforms is a plus.

Proficiency in spreadsheet tools (Excel/Google Sheets) and EDC systems.

Strong communication skills with the ability to explain technical concepts in simple language.

Highly organized, detail-oriented, and comfortable working independently.
