Role Overview: ADL Officer
The Analytical Development Laboratory (ADL) is the backbone of pharmaceutical innovation. As an ADL Officer, you will be responsible for the sophisticated technical processes that ensure drug products meet the highest safety and efficacy standards.
The company is specifically looking for candidates who can hit the ground running with a solid foundation in analytical validation and troubleshooting.
Core Job Responsibilities
The selected candidates will engage in high-impact technical work, including:
- Method Development: Designing and validating analytical methods using advanced instrumentation such as UV, IR, HPLC, GC, and KF for various drug products.
- Optimization: Conducting method transfers, troubleshooting technical issues, and optimizing existing analytical processes.
- Compliance: Ensuring all work aligns with Good Laboratory Practice (GLP) and Good Documentation Practice (GDP) standards.
- Collaboration: Working closely with Cross-functional teams, including Research & Development (F&D), Quality Assurance (QA), Quality Control (QC), and Manufacturing.
- Documentation: Preparing Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), specifications, and detailed analytical method development/validation protocols and reports.
- Testing Support: Supporting ongoing stability studies and essential product release testing.
Candidate Requirements and Qualifications
To be eligible for this role, applicants should meet the following criteria:
- Education: An MSc or M.Pharm degree is preferred (B.Pharm candidates with relevant experience may also apply).
- Experience: Between 2 to 6 years of hands-on experience in analytical development and method validation.
- Technical Expertise: A strong mastery of chromatography (specifically HPLC and GC) and spectroscopy is essential.
- Regulatory Knowledge: A firm understanding of regulatory guidelines, specifically GLP and GDP.
