Position Details
ICON plc is hiring candidates for the role of Lab Report Coordinator I in its scientific operations team. Candidates selected for this role will work closely with laboratory staff and cross-functional teams to ensure timely preparation and distribution of laboratory reports.
This opportunity is suitable for candidates with educational backgrounds in life sciences, laboratory technology, or business administration.
Roles and Responsibilities
Selected candidates will be responsible for:
- Coordinating laboratory report preparation and formatting according to established quality standards.
- Reviewing reports for accuracy, completeness, and compliance before distribution.
- Collaborating with laboratory teams to collect and manage required data.
- Maintaining records of report submissions and follow-up activities.
- Supporting reporting process improvements to increase efficiency and quality.
- Ensuring timely communication of laboratory results for clinical research studies.
Qualification Required
Candidates applying for this position should have:
- Bachelor’s degree in Life Sciences, Laboratory Technology, Business Administration, or related fields.
- 0–2 years of experience in report coordination, data management, or laboratory operations.
- Good communication and organizational skills.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines.
- Knowledge of Microsoft Office tools.
- Familiarity with Laboratory Information Management Systems (LIMS) will be an added advantage.
