Job Description -Medical Databases
The Healthcare-Medical Databases team at GlobalData is seeking to recruit Researchers at both the entry levels and Senior levels. The role involves contributing to the development of MedTech databases (medical device pipeline/commercialized), clinical trials in various therapy areas, which encompasses medical devices, diagnostic products, biomarkers, regulatory approvals, clinical trials, device manufacturers, investigator information, and more. This is an exciting opportunity for a recent graduate or someone looking to start a career in market research.
WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Demonstrated ability to think critically and independently, with strong analytical and interpretive skills, and a talent for structured thinking
- Keen attention to detail, self-motivation, and ability to work effectively both independently and collaboratively in a team
- Capable of prioritizing tasks, managing multiple assignments, and raising concerns or questions when necessary
- Familiarity with medical devices and regulatory landscape is a plus
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Word
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Ability to search methodically from a range of publicly available sources
- Conduct a comprehensive review of medical devices, clinical trials and gather detailed information in accordance with the database requirements
- Draft commentaries on new medical device developments
- Conduct market research to identify new developments, clinical trials, in the medical device domain
- Monitor healthcare industry developments on a daily basis and document as appropriate
- Review major regulatory websites, such as USFDA, EUDAMED, NMPA, TGA, CDSCO, and PMDA, for significant device approvals
- Validate and review medical device events using multiple sources and secondary search methodologies
- Analyze medical devices in compliance with project requirements and regulatory events
- Collaborate with various stakeholders within the team to meet project requirements
- Meet regular deadlines, which will be determined based on the project’s complexity
- Demonstrate an ability to adapt to various domains based on project needs
- Employ systematic search techniques to explore a variety of publicly accessible sources
- Extensive secondary research, understanding of basic terminologies used in
- Pharmaceutical drugs research like drug, receptor, Target, Mechanism and Indications
- Knowledge of Pharmaceutical pipeline and marketed drugs
- Knowledge about drug discovery process, clinical trials, Post Marketing information etc.
- Producing written and data on markets, products or companies including descriptions and profiles to publishable standards.
- Knowledge on regulatory bodies governing for drugs/ therapeutics
- Ability to search methodically from a range of publicly available sources
- Should have a basic working knowledge of MS Office

- Looking for freshers in MSC Microbiology, MSC – Biotechnology, M-Pharma only Pass out of 2021, 2022 & 2023 only
- experienced people should work experience on primary research & secondary research in pharma domain.
