Key Responsibilities of a QC Officer (HPLC)
As a Quality Control Officer focused on High-Performance Liquid Chromatography (HPLC), your role is critical in ensuring the safety and efficacy of pharmaceutical products. The primary responsibilities for this position include:
- Analysis and Testing: Performing rigorous HPLC analysis of both raw materials and finished products to ensure they meet required specifications.
- Method Development: Providing essential support for method verification and validation processes.
- Technical Documentation: Preparing and reviewing detailed analytical reports and maintaining comprehensive documentation in accordance with GMP (Good Manufacturing Practice) standards.
- Instrument Care: Handling the calibration and routine maintenance of HPLC instruments to ensure consistent and accurate results.
- Compliance Management: Managing Out of Specification (OOS) and Out of Trend (OOT) results, as well as handling any deviations within the lab environment.
Candidate Requirements and Qualifications
Indus Pharma is looking for high-caliber professionals who meet the following criteria:
- Educational Background: A B.Sc. or M.Sc. degree in Chemistry or Pharmacy is required.
- Technical Expertise: Strong, hands-on experience with HPLC systems is essential.
- Sector Experience: Candidates must have mandatory experience in an injectable plant.
- Regulatory Knowledge: A deep understanding of pharmacopeial standards, specifically IP, USP, and BP, is necessary for success in this role.
