Scientist / Senior Scientist – Formulation Development
Desired Profile:
M. Pharm (Pharmaceutics) with 10-12 years / Ph.D. (drug delivery/biopharmaceutics) with 5-6 years of industrial experience in Formulation development.
Roles & Responsibilities:
•Hands on experience in physicochemical characterization, solid state characterization, polymorph screening and salt screening techniques is must. Should have good knowledge on industrial crystallization procedures and drug substance manufacturing process.
•Hands on experience in developing and manufacturing enabling and novel formulations for improving bio-pharmaceutical properties and bioavailability of New Chemical Entities (NCE’s). In-depth knowledge in developing advanced oral & parenteral delivery systems like lipid-based delivery systems, nano-particulate systems, biodegradable polymeric systems etc is must.
•Experience and understanding in development and manufacturing of drug delivery systems for mAB’s and antibody drug conjugates.
•In depth knowledge about advanced material science. Hands on experience in using and interpreting data from techniques like DSC, PXRD, TGA, DVS, Hot Stage Microscopy, FTIR, NMR, HPLC, LCMS etc.
•In depth knowledge about physicochemical properties of NCE’s that governs developability of them further to clinic (Ex. Beyond rule of 5 molecules, BCS Class II/III/IV molecules etc).
•Hands on experience in preparation of protocols, guidelines, SOPs for lab equipment / instruments and processes.
•Should have good understanding about principles of GLP, GMP & ICH guidelines.
•Should understand systems and process pertaining to safety, health and environment.
