Description:
The Business Development Manager role is for candidates with sales and marketing experience in the pharmaceutical, nutraceuticals, or relevant fields. An ideal candidate is expected to be ambitious and energetic, to help the Company expand its clientele globally for a product business.
The candidate will be at the front of the company for service offerings and should create and apply an effective sales strategy for winning clients for the Company.
The goal is to drive sustainable financial growth by boosting sales and forging strong relationships with clients.
Experience :
4-5 years of proven working experience in business development/sales/ international marketing or a relevant role o Pharmaceuticals/Nutraceuticals. Export Market experiences preferred
Responsibilities:
1. Developing a growth strategy focused both on financial gain and customer satisfaction
2. Building long-term relationships with new and existing customers
3. Conducting research to identify new markets and customer needs
4. Arranging business meetings with prospective clients
5. Assisting with marketing and promotional plans
6. Attending networking events to attract and retain clients
7. Preparing service proposals and having knowledge about legal contracts
8. Keeping records of sales, revenue, invoices, payments, etc.
9. Understanding of regulatory framework
10. Focus on product approvals and registration.
Requirements and skills:
1. 4-5 years of proven working experience in business development/sales/international marketing or a relevant role
> Pharmaceuticals/nutraceuticals. Export Market experiences preferred
2. Strong communication, presentation, and negotiation skills
3. Self-motivation and the ability to be motivated by targets
4. Ability to work well in a team environment
5. Time management and planning skills
6. A proven sales track record with market knowledge is a plus
7. Academic history in veterinary, biotechnology, science, business administration, sales, or the relevant field is preferable
8. Extensive Travelling
