Ajanta Pharma, a specialty pharmaceutical organization with a global presence in over 30 countries, has announced an urgent recruitment drive for its facility in Dahej, Gujarat. The company is seeking experienced maintenance professionals to join its “Great Place to Work” certified team.
The current openings focus on specialized maintenance roles ranging from utility management to HVAC and plant machinery upkeep.
Available Job Roles and Requirements
1. Maintenance Executive – Utility
This role requires a candidate with a B.E. (Mechanical) qualification and 8 to 12 years of experience. Key responsibilities include:
- Maintaining pharma-related utility air compressors, chillers, boilers, and purified water systems.
- Handling qualifications such as URS, DQ, IQ, OQ, and PQ.
- Managing GMP documentation, including CAPA, change control, and preventive maintenance for utility machinery.
- Working within USFDA and WHO environments.
2. Maintenance Sr. Officer – QMS
Candidates for this position should hold a B.E. (Mechanical) and have 6 to 10 years of experience. The role involves:
- Preparing and reviewing SOPs and formats.
- Raising Change Control, Deviations, and Incidents.
- Ensuring compliance with self-inspection and external audits from regulatory bodies.
- Familiarity with GMP documentation like PM checklists.
3. Maintenance Assistant – Plant Maintenance
This position is open to ITI (Electrician) graduates with 4 to 10 years of experience. Required skills include:
- Hands-on experience in maintaining pharmaceutical packing and manufacturing lines.
- Preventive maintenance for equipment such as Granulation, Compression, Coating, and Pellet Coating.
- Maintenance of Blister, Strip, Powder, and bulk packing lines.
4. Maintenance Assistant – HVAC
Qualified ITI (Electrician/RFM) professionals with 4 to 10 years of experience are needed for HVAC maintenance. Duties include:
- Maintenance of AHU, dehumidifiers, and HVAC equipment.
- Exposure to BMS (Building Management Systems).
- Knowledge of split ductable units, breezing, and copper piping work.
